ORIONINVERNESS had size and presence and was always going to be a staying chaser. He had a full season of preliminary training before running in a couple of bumpers for experience and novice hurdling. He was third and fourth at Ayr in his first season hurdling. In 2016/17 he started over fences, and following a few runs he WON well at Hexham in March 2017 over two and a half miles. He followed up with a WIN at Newcastle in March 2018 again over two and a half miles. He then showed significantly improved form to beat the Gordon Elliot trained 2/5 favourite, again over two and a half miles, at Perth's finale meeting in September 2018. By Brian Boru, sire of Cheltenham Festival winner Next Sensation, and very useful chaser Bold Sir Brian, he is from the family of Macs Chariot and Minella Man, and is a half brother to Mudita Moment the winner of three hurdles to date. It was originally thought that he would need soft ground during the winter months but, having won well at Perth on Good ground options were substantially increased. The original idea had always been to put an unraced store horse into training and offer members the chance to be involved with a chaser from his early days and to watch his progress. Borris ( stable name) made great progress and was an absolute legend for our club winning 5 races and placed on many occasions. Borris sadly passed away in May 2021 whilst at home in the field he will never ever be forgotten by this club.
Touchedbyanangel is a beautiful Grey who we bought at Goffs Doncaster sales in October 2018 as a replacement for Maraweh. Unfortunately Angel never really got going for the club (no wins and a 2nd place was all we got in return after 12 races for the club) and in November 2020 we decided to call it a day with him carrying on racing.
what a great horse Maraweh turned out to be in the end for TVC winning 5 races (in a calendar year) finishing 2nd twice and 3rd 3 times. Perth was definately his home winning here 3 times and twice at Musselburgh. Maraweh was retired in 2019 and he will always be remembered for being quirky but brilliant.
Was leased to TVC in 2014 and he won once for us at Perth Racecourse.
Was another horse leased to TVC in 2013 and although he didn't win for us he was placed on numerous occasions for the club.
Paddy's honour was retired as a runner for TVC due to an ongoing injury. The club took great care in making sure that Paddy was retired to a caring home.
Ran for TVC in 2010 finishing a promising 3rd on his debut for us, but unfortunately severed a tendon in his next race and had to be put down.
We must not forget Summer Soul who was the club's first fully owned horse. Summer Soul won once at Newcastle Racecourse on the flat in 2009 and was sold by the club later in the same year.
A leased horse but no wins or placed efforts in his five runs for the club.
