Return Fire

Return Fire is a thoroughbred gelding born in Ireland in 2016. Fire (stable name) is by Leading Light (IRE) out of There on Time (IRE)
SIRE: Leading Light (IRE) 1996
DAM: There On Time (IRE) 2003 [By Carroll House (IRE) 1985]

Return Fire has started this winter season well, winning at his beloved Hexham after a pipe opener at Kelso. Fire will ultimately run over fences at a distance of 3 miles or more for us going forward, with Hexham being his most likely target.

Bishop Hill

Bishop Hill is a thoroughbred filly born in Ireland in 2019.

Polly (stable name) is by Malinas (GER) out of the mare Jigs'n Reels (IRE)

SIRE: Malinas (GER) 2001

DAM: Jigs'n Reels (IRE) 2006 (by Old Vic (GB) 1986)

Polly was bought by the club after Petite Rhapsody was given his much deserved retirement in Decemebr of 2023. She had just been 2nd at Newcastle on 23rd Novemeber in a mares Maiden Hurdle race over 2m 4f. This was her first trip up in distance from 2m and it looks like Polly is a staying hurdler in the making.

Polly ran for the club at our spiritual home of Perth Racecourse over the summer of 2024, and just missed out on winning by narrow margins in her maiden season.

Polly will be aimed at Perth in the summer of 2025 and hopefully she can build on last years results.
