In the Tay Valley Chasers, you will find a very friendly and enthusiastic group of people who all share a passion for horses and racing.

Who are we?

We are Scotland’s most exciting racing club continuing to go from strength to strength. Based in Perth and formed in 2007 with nothing more than an idea.

The club's horses have won 27 races since formation with numerous placed finishes as well.

The club currently has 2 horses running in our colours Bishop Hill and OrionCaleyJags.

Our horses are in training with Grand National and Scottish Grand National winning trainer Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore. We get regular updates from our trainers. We also have our own Facebook, Instagram and X accounts where you can find lots of interesting snippets about the club and our horses.

Why we're here...

The club was formed in 2007 by George Godsman and Sam Morshead, with the idea behind the venture to give ordinary people the opportunity to experience some of the benefits of racehorse ownership, at an affordable cost.

Our racing club is a very friendly enthusiastic group who all share a passion for horses and racing.

We all enjoy the buzz and thrill of watching our horses run throughout the season and our racing club is well known for celebrating in style when our horses return to the winners enclosure...

Once a year we are invited to the yard for a visit, where we can watch our horses on the gallops, or even on the water treadmill, and get a behind the scenes tour from Lucinda and her wonderful team.
